Rubbernecker Back to School Themed Challenge & Labor Day Sale!

Visit our blog for challenge details!

Every summer my son goes to SCAMP. It's a day camp that runs three days a week for five weeks for children, teens and adults with special needs. In addition to the staff, there are a lot of high school volunteers from the school district that runs it. And evey year I make them something for back to school. Usually it's book marks, but this year I went with mini sticky notes. They're easy to keep in a backpack without getting messed up!

Here are a group of four of the many designs I made for the teens to choose from.

Rubbernecker Stamps

Alfie & the fire hydrant (77-02)
Dog in the cover (569-18)
Bill on the skateboard (570-13)
Scooter (641-03)

This are the average sized sticky notes' cover I made for my son last school year.
It features Alex (570-14).

And what would back to school mean without Labor Day & a sale?
(In Michigan, schools have to start after the holiday for the sake of tourism.)

And Rubbernecker is having a sale on accessories - my favorite being Spellbinders!

In keeping with the school theme, I have this "football" card
that I made for the CAS DT search as a sample..
Isn't that cute dp for the yard lines?
Rubbernecker Stamps: Party Time set (439)
Spellbinders Die: Labels #14

At my son's high school, summer reading is a must. And an essay is due at registration!
I love this sentiment: Good friends, like good books, let you pick up where you left off...

Rubbernecker Stamp:
Good Friends sentiment (642-13)
Poppy Panel Background (519)
Spellbinders Die: Labels #7

The Season for Flowers

I love my roses. I have them in red and white, too, but these are my favorite. They're a nice combination of pink, yellow, peach and even a little orange here and there. I'm sure my SCS friends are probably wondering why they're not all orange! LOL!

Chic Chicks

CAS169 - Inspired by a word or phrase: CHIC
I was ready with sophisticated ladies and elegant clothes. I considered sophisticated and elegant designs. But I just had to be different. I made a family of "chic" chicks for Mother's Day!

Rubbernecker Stamps: chicks (565_06), sentiment (565_1314) Paper: white, SU certainly celery dsp
Ink: Memento black, certainly celery, Copic markers buttercup yellow & honey
Tools: Friskars grass punch
Accessories: ribbon

I've made a board book to document the Rubbernecker Stamps that I own with their corresponding names and numbers. It makes uploading information so much faster and serves as an inventory to remind me what I have, especially with sentiments. The chicks on are the let page.

The Mother's Day sentiments is on left side.
